This is the result of a portrait in dotpaint. Striking is the fact that Mrs. died a few years ago but they told me after the hand over of the painting. And it seems like a tribute to the person with the aura that is located around the figure. Coincidence or .........
A friend , she liked my work, asked me if I wanted to make a dotpainting from her mother. I thought it was a challenge, but I started with a small heart because this was the first time that I made a dotpaint from a portrait.
First I made a sketch drawing. The head and face appeared to me the hardest and with that I started.
Her hear was simultaneously a challenge and fascinating because there were so many colors in it.
I got more confidence after a while. I was satisfied of the result but I would make some adjustments.
Such a varied picture with many details wasn´t easy.
Below you can see the portrait of the woman. The persone was the most important, the rest was background.
